What happens during an appointment?
After you have set up an appointment:
- You meet with me, one-to-one, online through Zoom
- I work with you personally
- Each session lasts 40 to 50 minutes
- The first session is where I get to know you, what you are experiencing in your life, and find out what your aspirations are
- Each session is focussed on a specific topic, issue, behavior, belief, goal, vision, etc., and is customized to your needs
- Together we look at challenges and solutions around them. These can be practical challenges or internal blocks and thoughts
- I will guide you through what we are working on so that you can explore the feelings, thoughts, and stories you have about yourself
- We explore self-judgments and unconscious beliefs that limit you and how to move beyond them
- We discover how to address what comes up during. a session
- Each session is private and confidential (subject to legal and ethical exceptions)

What is Compassionate Inquiry?
I am a Certified Practitioner of Compassionate Inquiry.

This is relevant for avoiding burnout because burnout is the endpoint of unmanaged stress.
If we have the tendency to push ourselves for too long, there may be underlying beliefs about ourselves that we find it almost impossible to let go or or even to recognize. I support you to move beyond these.
What is Wellness Coaching?
I am a Certified Mayo Clinic Wellness Coach.
Mayo Clinic Wellness Coaching is a one-of-a-kind experience that blends evidence-based skill sets with insightful coaching.
It is grounded in established research and theory of behavior change.
Through my coaching framework, I partner with you to help you identify your values and desires, transform them into action, and maintain lasting change over time.
I help attorneys progress in the areas in which they are stuck. This could be with in relation to waning energy or enthusiasm, not looking after yourself properly, or isolation due to the nature of the work. Each attorney is unique in what they need and want.
In the Mayo Clinic Wellness Coaching model, the client is viewed as the expert in their own life. This means that I listen to you intently without judgment and together we find sources of inspiration and past successes that help you progress and make the changes you want to.
You reach your goals with a new mindset and we explore new ways to manage such things as tiredness, overwhelm, and stress in order to live a full life and achieve the growth you want to.
Working with you has changed my work and life balance. The stress of life is still there but I approach it differently.
I can see the bigger picture... I feel like I’m in the driving seat and now have control over my thoughts and feelings.
I have noticed that I am starting to make decisions based on how I feel and not what is best for others.
